You can have plenty of protein and appropriate foods while on the HCG diet if you are a vegan or vegetarian by –
Using the recipes on the website but leave out meat, chicken and fish.
Make a daily smoothie and add one tbsp pea protein with some of your fruit allowance, use water or rice milk not cows milk. Definately not coconut or nut milks.
Add 1/2 cup of cocked lentills to your soup, salad or vegetables.
Have 1 cup cooked rice per day.
Eat more leafy, green vegetables and potatoes.
